AKIZU Drone
Starling 2 Max in an AKIZU body
A proven ModalAI development platform with a VOXL 2 computer, wrapped in a compact AKIZU body. The body protects electronics and batteries, keeps the cameras behind glass and gives the drone the look of a professional tool. Frame, motors and propellers stay original.

Overview
Who it is for
Inspection operators and public-safety teams that need to fly beyond visual line of sight over an ordinary mobile network.
What it solves
The airborne link of the chain is designed for VERA from the start: camera, VOXL 2 computer and modem form one unit.
What stays original
Frame, motors, propellers and flight software of the Starling 2 Max. The AKIZU body is a design that adds protection and identity.
Body
Designed as a working tool.
The PA12 glass-fibre body covers electronics and batteries. Cameras sit behind glass, the service panel uses Torx screws and vents carry heat away from the VOXL 2. Labels show what is original and what AKIZU adds.

Cameras
An image that knows its age.
Two 12 MP Sony IMX412 cameras and two AR0144 tracking cameras for navigation. The main VERA profile assumes 240 frames per second, so each frame is at most 4.2 ms ahead of the next on the drone.
- Main cameras2 × Sony IMX412 12 MP M
- Tracking cameras2 × AR0144 1 MP M
- Main profile240 fps N

Colours
Two lines: Deep Navy and Light Grey.
Deep navy for public safety and defence, light grey for inspection and industry. The AKIZU logo is printed on the body, and the Brain onboard unit carries the same colours.

In more detail
What the airframe does not do
The airframe carries Brain. It does not decide about the frame.
Image age is not made by the airframe. It is made by the chain in Brain and in the cockpit. An airframe without Brain is an aircraft like any other.
The beacon in the Solutions scenes is not part of the drone. It is a payload from another maker. Night lights depend on the aircraft and AKIZU has not verified them.
The two lines, Deep Navy and Light Grey, are appearance. They are not two different performance figures.
Bring to the meeting
- A place for Brain.
- Four screws and one connector in the fit design.
- The status on the page, not a promise from a render.
This is not
- An autonomous decision.
- A beacon.
- A certificate from a visualisation.
